Quatron Declares War on Vrymnul

QUATRON October 14, 1912 - Today the Quatron Government formally delivered a declaration of war to  Vrymnul's Philosopher King. Vrymnul refused to return to their borders and declare a cease-fire as requested by Quatron. Following His Imperial Excellency's formal request to declare war on Vrymnul, the Imperial Senate voted to approve the declaration. Patriotic support has been strong as the Quatron people support their beleaguered friends on the continent. All Imperial Army divisions have been mobilized. His Imperial Excellency issued a proclamation to all the citizens of Quatron explaining the situation and calling on all able-bodied citizens to enlist in the Imperial Army and Imperial Navy. He has asked for an initial creation of six divisions. He also called on all citizens to contribute to the war-effort in whichever way the can.

Imperial Home Guard Mobilized

QUATRON October 12, 1912 - The Imperial High Commanded issued an order of mobilization to all divisions in Quatron proper to be prepared in case the war on the continent escalates. All deployed divisions were also placed on alert. All ships of the Imperial Navy were also moved to a heightened alert.

Vrymnul Declares War on Amalah!

QUATRON October 12, 1912 - The Vrymnul government today declared war on Amalah, ending the peace that was negotiated between Amalah and Azania. Quatron's negotiators lead by the Emperor himself had successfully negotiated a treaty along with Bendhermong, Amalah, and Azania that would have brought a cease-fire to the war in Azania. Both parties had agreed to an international commission and a cease-fire, but Vrymnul invaded Amalah claiming that Quatron had manipulated the process. The Imperial Government issued a denunciation of Vrymnul's move saying that the country had "destroyed an international body's work at preserving peace among nations." The Imperial Senate and Assembly are both issuing denunciations of the move. Quatron has long had good relations with the small country of Amalah on the north of the continent, although the negotiating team was prepared to denounce their friendship should the International Committee have found them guilty.
